The United Methodist Men are a group of dedicated Christian men who meet on the third Tuesday of every month in which they enjoy a time of fellowship with a featured speaker from the community each meeting. The UMM is committed to meeting the needs of the congregation at Ashburn First United Methodist Men and reaching out to the community.
The UMM is very active in being responsible for cooking hamburgers and hot dogs at various church functions throughout the year such as the Easter Egg hunt and the Fall Festival. They also provide breakfast at the Easter sunrise service. They are also active in other community service activities throughout the year, such as feeding the Turner County High School football team once a year on a Friday before a game.
Every November, the UMM holds a pork chop fundraiser. Proceeds from the pork chop plates are used to fund projects throughout the year.
You are always welcome to attend any UMM meeting. We would love to have you join us. For any questions, please contact Brad Christian.
